Technical draftsman interior
HUGO interior design is looking for a technical draughtsman with an affinity for interior construction and design. In this versatile position (also part-time possible) you will work in an inspiring work environment where projects are developed and elaborated in a close-knit team. You will work on various high-profile hotel and restaurant projects for leading clients. What will you do?
- Develop and modify design drawings of a variety of interiors and components within them, including floor plans, views, cross-sections and custom interior components/furniture
- Devising creative, technical solutions in the elaboration of the designs
- Surveying at project sites and creating subs in the absence of existing DWGs
- Checking the working drawings of interior designers
- Conducting consultations with interior designers, project managers and clients and participating in interior-related construction meetings
What do we ask of you?
- Completed technical education (MBO or HBO), preferably a furniture/interior construction background
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is a must, as well as several years of relevant work experience with this program
- Skill in the Adobe package is a plus
- Broad and up-to-date knowledge of products and materials within interior and finishing elements
- Being able to oversee the architectural and budgetary consequences of choices made in the drawing process
- Communicative, socially capable and used to working in project teams
- Good command of the Dutch and English language both verbally and in writing
- In possession of driving licence B
